IRAN 100000 Riyal UNC banknote

Iran 100,000 Rials UNC Banknote – Pick #151 (2010–2019)

Product Description

This Iran 100000 Rials classic banknote listing contains one genuine Pick 151 note in Uncirculated condition. The Iranian 100000 rial UNC classic note uses the earlier large format. Choose this Iran Saadi large format banknote when your collection requires that type rather than the later small-format transitional issue.

The note blends political and literary heritage. The obverse features a portrait of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic. The reverse showcases the Tomb of Saadi in Shiraz, honoring the 13th-century Persian poet whose humanist philosophy remains deeply influential. Inscribed below is his timeless verse: “Human beings are members of a whole, in creation of one essence and soul.” This message of unity and compassion gives the note profound cultural resonance beyond its monetary function.

Why Add This Iran 100,000 Rials Banknote to Your Collection?

This note stands out for its inclusion of philosophical poetry on modern currency. Saadi’s message of human unity contrasts with—and complements—the political symbolism of Khomeini, creating a layered national narrative. Therefore, it’s ideal for collectors of literary-themed banknotes, Middle Eastern currency, or quotes on money. Pair it with our Iran 500,000 Rials UNC note or explore all issues in our Iranian Rials category.
