Iraq 500 Dinars UNC Banknote – 2018

Denomination, Contents and Condition

The obverse depicts Dukan Dam, while the reverse carries the winged bull associated with ancient Mesopotamian art. Looking at both sides provides a useful design check when identifying this denomination. It also makes the note suitable for a collection organized around engineering or animal motifs on paper money.

Pick 98 identifies the catalogue type, while 2018 identifies the listed issue year. Catalogue details help distinguish the type from a different Iraqi denomination. The printed serial number identifies an individual example; it is not the definition of the entire issue.

Each quantity purchased contains one 500-Dinar banknote. This differs from the separate lot of five 500-Dinar notes, which repeats the same denomination. It also differs from the three-note set, which combines 500 Dinars with 250 and 1,000 Dinars. Choose the format that fits the gaps in your album.

The stated UNC grade describes the banknote you receive. It has not entered circulation. Buyers should compare this grade with circulated listings rather than treating UNC, XF and VF as interchangeable labels. The face value alone does not describe the condition of a collector banknote.

The prefix and serial number can differ from the image. We can supply a specific numbered example or consecutive sequence only if actual stock allows it. Contact us with an exact collecting requirement so we can check actual availability before you purchase.

Care and Checkout

Keep the banknotes flat in appropriate collector sleeves, away from moisture, direct sunlight and adhesive materials. Handle them with clean, dry hands and avoid writing on the notes or altering their surfaces.

Checkout shows the available payment methods and shipping services for your destination. Confirm any special date, prefix or serial request before placing the order, so we can check the required stock.
