All five notes are supplied in
UNC (Uncirculated) condition. Together, they provide a
practical comparison between the earlier Rial presentation and the modern
transitional system in which four zeros are visually reduced for the
shortened Toman figures.

The first note, Pick 159, retains the conventional
10,000-Rial denomination format. The remaining four
issues belong to the transitional family and display prominent values of
5, 10, 50 and 100, corresponding respectively to 50,000, 100,000,
500,000 and 1,000,000 Rials.
This structure allows collectors to examine how denomination presentation
changed without treating the earlier Pick 159 as a dual-denomination
Toman note. It also prevents confusion with Pick 160, the later
10,000-Rial issue that genuinely carries the shortened 1-Toman value.
For an advanced collection, the group can serve as the foundation for a
broader transitional sequence by later adding
Pick 160 – 1 Toman and
Pick 161 – 2 Tomans.
Each note occupies a separate catalogue position. Denomination, Pick
number, design and transitional status should be recorded together rather
than identifying the notes from their numerical values alone.

from the full printed Rial denomination. Consequently, the values should

Important distinction: The 10,000-Rial Pick 159 note
included in this product is not labelled as 1 Toman. The genuine
transitional 1-Toman issue belongs to Pick 160 and is not included
unless specifically shown as part of the product.
This product is a focused five-note progression rather than every Pick
number in the transitional series. Understanding the scope helps collectors
plan future additions without assuming that missing positions are errors.
Pick 160 is the genuine dual-denomination 1-Toman note introduced
after Pick 159. It is a separate catalogue issue.
The 2-Toman denomination belongs between the 1- and 5-Toman positions
in a fully expanded transitional sequence.
The included structure is therefore best described as a Rial-to-Toman
transition set rather than a complete consecutive Pick run.
Because the five notes use different denominations, Pick references and
issue periods, their serial numbers should not automatically be described
as consecutive with one another.
Matching, coordinated or consecutive characteristics are supplied only
when they are clearly visible in the product images or explicitly
confirmed for the available stock. Otherwise, serial numbers, prefixes
and signatures may differ while all five notes retain the listed
denominations, Pick types and UNC condition.
Collectors requiring one specific signature combination or serial pattern
should confirm availability before ordering. Different signatures can
represent legitimate varieties within the same main Pick number.
The set also illustrates a change in paper-money format. The lower values
are standard circulation banknotes, while the 500,000- and
1,000,000-Rial issues are identified as Iran Cheques.
